I design jewelry for the magic of a unique experience. I mix the classic codes of jewelry with a modern design. Together with my clients, I create pieces that push the boundaries of taken-for-granted architecture. By working on different aspects of the object: surface effects, boldly cut gems or the construction of a line beyond its usefulness, these details allow me to give a singular identity to my jewelry. Elements that sometimes refer to a deconstructive philosophy of the classic codes of jewelry and sometimes to a certain aesthetic of the unfinished.
Born in Havana in 1987, I grew up in a family with a long tradition in the cabinetmaking trade. I was thus built in a world of creativity linked to the craft. This has always been and will remain part of my DNA.
Jewelry became a passion afterwards. It all started with my curiosity for gemology and a growing interest in the characteristics of precious metals and their alloys. After a satisfying career in engineering, I felt a real need to return to my first passion, handcrafting. The life I have been living in France since 2008 also helped me in this choice. Paris, my adopted city, the most beautiful city in the world, is the world capital of fine jewelry manufacturing. All the big names in this industry are there. I am proud to be part of the chain of transmission of this century-old know-how. It is passed on between generations of craftsmen and I will pass it on to my apprentices.
Graduated from the Haute École de Joaillerie (BJOP), the oldest jewelry school in Europe and probably in the world, I have been trained in the art and techniques of jewelry and gem setting. I decided to launch my own jewelry brand in 2021, as a logical continuation of my career and my desire for creative expression.
Glad to have shared some of my story with you.
What about you? What dream can we make for you today?
